About Me
SJ resident, Rosemarie Peña is a graduate of JFKHS Willingboro , Boston University and Rutgers University . She currently serves as President and CEO of I-Pavilion Institute, Inc. and President of the Black German Cultural Society, Inc. whose online community has created a global network of persons of color of German descent who are involved in historical and genealogical research and study.
During and after College Rosemarie worked as a Social Worker and Supervisor of Counselors in various state and county agencies in South Jersey and Philadelphia . She also became certified as a Paralegal in Human Resources and Pension Administration.
In the mid 1980's Rosemarie became interested in graphic design and computer networks. While working simultaneously on network engineer certifications for both Novell and Microsoft Systems, she established her first technology consulting business.
Her memberships include the Graphic Artists Guild, International Webmaster's Association and the Association of Internet Researchers.
In addition to her work with her own non-profit, Ms Pena is also a member of the Phi Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Chairs the Department of Christia Education at her Church.
A proud mother of two recent TCNJ college graduates, Rosemarie is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French. She has recently begun working to improve in German.
